Over the last two years, Option has given us a number of great tracks, most notably 'Blueshift', 'Someone Like You', 'No Love', and 'Everything I Need'. Now he kicks off 2018 for Detached Audio with his fantastic debut EP, "While I'm With You"; a 4 track package exploring a range of emotions and styles within the deeper side of Drum & Bass, and starting 2018 the right way.

Intro track 'Wouldn't Have Known' is Option showcasing what he does best. Floating pads back an intriguing vocal and pluck melodies to give a track which is a joy to listen and relax to. This is followed up by 'I Need It', a gorgeous, fleeting piano melody leads to a sparse atmospheric track that impressively still packs enough energy to work in a dancefloor setting.

'I Guess Nobody Told You' takes things in a darker tone. A bleepy hook alongside broken melodies and a deep vocal result in a moodier roller with techno influences. Title track 'While I'm With You' closes off this fantastic EP with more of the signature Option sound, maintaining a consistent high quality throughout the project, leaving us eagerly anticipating Option's future endeavours this year.
