K2T has had a whirlwind year so far, having released his 'Starscape' EP, and the 'Lush Life' EP, featuring Option, which have gained a huge amount of support from his contemporaries. Now, teaming up with close collaborator, Sirus, this duo delivers the stunning 'Rwenzori' EP - a 4 track project that exhibits the duo's effortless ability in blending beautiful Drum & Bass, as well as soulful lofi hip hop.

Pianos lead the way with the title track, 'Rwenzori', showcasing the duo at their best. Accompanying ambient atmospherics result in a breath-taking piece that is sure to be present in many liquid playlists. 'Dune in July' follows with sparse, spacey textures in an autonomic hip hop track guaranteed to take you away.

The duo then up the tempo again with 'Freezeframe'. This track exhibits K2T & Sirus' ability to create the perfect contrast between light and dark with a gritty basslined, deep roller that is also filled with an abundance of melodic pads and synths. Jazzy downtempo vibes in 'Angel' then bring this beautiful EP to a close. Eastern percussion weaving into a steady hip hop beat give structure to a sultry rhodes melody, elegantly wrapping up a diverse and cohesive project.

K2T & Sirus have previously collaborated on the upbeat 'N'irole', and the emotional 'Aether', both of which were fan favourites in the 'Detachism: Section One' LP and 'Delta 001' EP respectively. The 'Rwenzori' EP from the duo further solidifies the strength of their partnership, while taking the product of their individual sounds into a new direction.
