For the final release of a highly successful 2019 at Detached Audio, we welcome rising duo Kinaes to the label. Kinaes should already be familiar to Detached Audio fans, as the duo is comprised of label alumni Echo Motion & Enok. Their single consists of one brand new track alongside a remix of 'Hedera' by Rounder & Option, one of our highlights from 2018.

Up first is 'By The Lake' featuring good friend Sonny G. Natural foley, recorded by Enok and Sonny G themselves, wrap themselves around a steady liquid roller filled with original sampling. This track is the perfect blend of light and dark, and is one that is sure to be in heavy rotation.

On the flipside is the Kinaes remix of 'Hedera' by Rounder & Option. By accentuating the atmospherics (some of which are made from Echo Motion's vocals), the duo display a beautiful night-time liquid piece that both pays homage to the original, while taking it in a brand new and fresh direction.

After a great year with top quality releases at Detached Audio, Kinaes wrap up the year for us in style, while giving a clear announcement that 2020 will not only be a fantastic year for Kinaes, but for Detached Audio as well.
