After the phenomenal success of his debut album, "The Tranquillity of Being With The Self", label boss K2T finally returns to the centre stage, this time teaming up with DNB Dojo owner Hex who comes fresh from dropping a remix of 'Arashi' by Sirus in our previous release. The duo come through with a two track single that evokes nostalgia with it's old school flavour while fusing modern aesthetics.

'Cascade Failure' leads the way, with a crunchy hip hop beat carrying a mystical piano hook before leading into a choppy jungle-flavoured roller with cascading melodies and atmospherics.

On the flipside is 'A New Leaf'. Keeping the energy high while taking a more classic approach, glitched drums pave the way for catchy hooks and chord progressions, making this track an earworm. Watch out for some live guitar playing by Hex himself!

K2T & Hex have had a number of pieces of work together, including remixes for each other, as well as a free download track, 'Embers', which dropped earlier this year; and it is clear to see that the fusion of their sounds is both natural and novel.
