We proudly welcome Sol Pillars for his debut EP on Detached Audio. Sol Pillars has had a wealth of top quality releases on Calibrate, Rubricate, Bay 6 and many more; and now he comes through with 4 unique tracks that showcase the breadth and depth of his production and sound while also being an homage to a special person in his life.

Up first is the title track of the EP, 'Blue Jay'. A serene and tranquil intro lulls us in before we're exposed to glitchy percussion and deep bass, showcasing Sol Pillars' effortless weaving of light and dark. 'Regenerate' follows this with a hypnotising vocal leading us through a more minimal take on Sol's sound.

'Under You' shows a more dancefloor take on the Sol Pillars' sound with gritty basslines and choppy drums twisting and turning throughout the track. The EP concludes with 'The Space Between Us', the most experimental and as the name suggests, spacious track from the project. With this track, Sol Pillars exemplifies each sound to create a spaced out world with just a few elements taking centre stage.
